The regular-strength joint is a softer ankle joint for applications that require the maximum functional stretch. The heavy-duty joint is a fiberglass reinforced ankle joint for applications that require a moderate amount of functional stretch.

The Gillette system provides a full range of options for joint motion and control in a low-profile thermo-plastic orthosis. A posterior stop is provided with each pair of ankle joints.
